Kite Surfing

Feeling very tired today after a sleepless night I wandered down to New Brighton to have lunch on the beach. In a howling Nor'easter.

Aside from the fresh air blasting thru my gills, which helped revive me, I spent 20 minutes photographing this bloke kite surfing up and down the beach in huge waves. Man, he was amazing.

Like in this shot, who knows how far up in the air and "hanging out". I think he was showing off for me ;-)
