Water Fun

Sadly today our Primary School was closed due to the strike action of some teachers in the Public Sector within the NUT (National Union of teachers) . Now a couple of weeks ago the Sandcastle Waterpark announced FREE admission to local residents for the rest of June. Expecting them to backtrack on realising that most primary schools in the area were closing today, they did the opposite and actually promoted it ! So we went ...and had a fab time. It was busy, but it was fun and because most of the children were very young, it was worth paying £3.75 extra to ride the big slides time and again. Fab day.

Footnote: I had to get a camera wristband as photos are only allowed to be taken by people wearing these, you have to fill in a form and 'show' your children to the staff. A sign of the times but at least they do allow you to take photos.

SO BUSY!!! Just backblipped for yesterday too...robbing birds :)
