Welcome Visitor

Haven't seen much of our robin lately but he came out to play today and I managed to get a few photos of him, which I'm very happy about.

Spent quite a bit of time gardening today, including pulling up weeds on the patio near the bird table - I daren't put weed killer down anymore as the birds won't like it. Also planted up another hanging basket and moved a couple of plants including a gorgeous geranium - I'm hoping it survives the move, but it wasn't thriving where it was.

Bit of a mishap with the hanging basket though - I wanted to hang it up outside our front door on the bracket that was already there, but I couldn't reach. So I lugged a chair round from the back garden, got up there, hung the basket on the hook - which promptly fell off the wall! So that's going to have to wait till the weekend when my home handyman comes back from working away.

Took quite a few bird photos as well as the robin, including this very scruffy looking blackbird sitting up on the wires above the garden.

Getting ready for my 300th blip tomorrow - I've got something planned, hopefully it will work as I don't have a plan B ;o)
