Marilyn

This mosiac is housed in one of my favourite restaurants, Isis. It is of course of Marilyn Monroe who is one of my favourite people of all time. We know all the problems Marilyn had with drugs and alcohol not to mention the mafia and the Kennedys. Pare back the layers however and you find a lonely and fragile women possessing an incandescent beauty that is so wonderful it's a pleasure just to stare. I also thought she made some great films.

Enough - Our meal was great and being a non meat eater they let me construct my own calzone. A bottle of Merlot completed the evening.
