Motobecane

Today took some pics of Mrs.Mroks vintage road bike. It's pearl red Motobecane Mirage Sport from the late seventies I believe. She really has no time to use it much and lately she has done all her longer bike rides with the modern cyclocross with road tires, and as we are running out of storage space.. You see where this is going..

It is quite sad really as nowadays it is not easy to find people who appreciate these beautifully made vintage racers as they do not offer same performance as modern bikes. I would really hate to see this beauty "raped" as some fixie conversion riding the downtown streets.

I guess I have to keep my eyes open for the owner candidates ;)
