From the stone age
In contrast to recent weeks, on Saturday I took so many photos, really wasn't sure what to blip.
Went on a cycle route finding trip to Heriot-Watt. Years since I was there. It has acquired a whole lot of trails - Tree, Landscape, History, Art and Bird - (I'm not making this up!) - complete with marker posts.
In fact, looks like a Blipper could spend a whole day there.
So in spite of the recent photo opportunities, I decided to upload something that pre-dates the H-W campus.
This is a stone carving on the Calder Road entrance to what used to be Riccarton House - demolished in 1956 after neglect by the Army (bit like Dreghorn Castle).
Simple bit of decoration - but not sure what it's meant to be - carefully executed.
