El Gato Glorioso
El Gato Glorioso woke me up at 4:30 this morning. No problem. I got up and pottered off to make his brekkers. He was very affectionate as he can be when he has someone to play with. I fed him and went back to bed.
15 minutes later he started crying for his "lift". This is something he has developed since moving to Germany, this involves him sitting at the bottom of the stairs and crying. I get up and go down to the bottom of the stairs. This acts as a kind of counterweight because when I get to the bottom of the stairs, he runs up to the top. This seems to please him no end judging by the amount of active tail swishing that goes on.
Anyway, I go back to bed.
15 minutes later I hear crying from the terrace. I go out and Moot is hanging from the fence by his front claws (inside the terrace, not over an edge) but he's hanging by his paws from the fence and crying. I go over, lift him up and try to get him to unhook his claws. He doesn't co-operate. G has to come out and help.
This is 5 in the morning - you better believe he's well treated. And once he's unhooked and back on all fours, he's off to chase another thing that he can see that I can't. He kept me awake until 7 with intermittent dashes into the flat and meows and intermittent dashes out and meows.
This is him when I was making dinner. In behind the oils and vinegars.
Today's song is from the film Guru. A soothing song as a balm against the general weirdness of Moot today.
