Heading home

After driving over 1300 miles in 14 days, taking 2 ferry trips and a weather mix stretching from raincoats to sunburn this years summer holiday has come to an end. We had the usual greeting of rain just as we crossed the border into Scotland. The joy of getting home, unpacking the car, emptying the bags and starting many rounds of clothes washing has begun. By tomorrow I'll have forgotten we were on holiday :-)
