Star Trail 1

Mrs W bought me a subscription to a photographic magazine with lots of creative things to do in Photshop. The latest edition plopped onto the door mat today.

Usually the projects are completely beyond me - or far too arty. However the idea of creating a night time picture with star trails, without having to stay up all night doing time lapse photography, was too tempting.

Ideally this is done with a cloudless sky but as Blip rules are that all elements are created today - a few clouds crept in. So here it is - a first attempt.

I like this effect, I think there is a lot of potential here.
