Wow, almost missed the blip deadline for the day! First in a long, long time! Have had friends over from New Zealand - they emigrated there from London 5 years ago & one said friend we hadn't seen for those 5 years! Come January they'll be entitled for full NZ citizenship! But are doubtful if they'll ever return to the UK, but they say that now, might be different! Next year they're avoiding this country like the plague thanks to the Olympics, but will be back the year after, so it was a case of see you in 2 years time! It was almost a tearful parting... but we all restrained ourselves!

This was taken at our local RHS gardens - there were no green fly on these roses, but this ladybird was taking his/her luck!

Thanks to everyone who commented, starred & gave hearts to my blip from yesterday, I'm always so overwhelmed with such delightful, lovely comments & always feel so bad when I don't respond - but I am now! Collectively! Spotlight again! Think I might pitch a tent there now... hope the rent isn't too high?! ;) xxx
