Life is there for living.

Client visit made me value life..

I dropped off a lady to do some washing up at Danetre Hospital today and got chatting with one of the supervisors there. Her sister (only 22) is in hospital in Scotland after suffering from an alcohol related illness. She is now unable to control her body or speech and the whole story is really sad.

I then saw another client (and good friend) this afternoon who told me the story of his daughter who was admitted to hosiptal last weekend. His daughter is now fine, but the stories of the other children on the same ward was really really sad.

Then about 4pm, I had a phone call from a family member who told me about one of our relatives who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Then to finish the day off, one of my drivers popped in to say hello. I said "blimey, you look smart"! He had just come from a funeral!!

No matter what life throws at you, if you have your health and people who love you then you should feel privileged and very lucky. There is always someone much worse off than you.

I actually had quite a good day today. Apart from disappointing maccy D porridge (which was really yucky and over cooked!(.

Photo-I'm sure you can guess where it was taken :-)
