Kaiserslauterns City Birds

When the rain started this morning I looked out of the window at work and watched sparrow no. 1 disappear in this air vent in the building across the street.

Sparrow no. 2 hung about for a while, sat down, flew up again and finally did a headfirst dive into the vent, too.

I watched the vent a while, but neither one of them came out again.

A secret rendezvous?
