On a mission

What a day of fun we've had!! The morning started with a visit to a new soft play that we've not tried before. And it's free on the mornings for under 4s! The girlies were both heading for nap time but had lots of fun. The ball areas were pretty massive and came well up to their waists. Katie loved a star and a crocodile soft shapes. Ava loved a big slide and tunnel. They both loved the wooden bead frames and abacus. Which they own at their own homes! It was lovely to see them.

After they'd gone home, Katie fell asleep in the car so we got a bit of time to potter round some shops. We got some bargain videos for Katie (The Wiggles for 2p!) and a few other bits. Katie had eaten her lunch before she went to sleep, so Sarah and I had a car picnic.

We then headed to our favourite park. We only made it as far as the waterpark. 2 hours we spent there. We discovered a new part of it, with quite a deep big pool area (deep for Katie - up beyond her waist). They also have a fabulous big outdoor water play tables, with tunnels and waterwheels. Katie rather liked that. She spent ages chasing her big ball along the streams, and using the bucket to throw water over herself. It's been a LOT of fun today!
