Seriously Funny
Signage in a bar in Edinburgh. After a day of straight-faced yakkin about boxes and arrows, the suits retired to drink overpriced beer in a tolerable George Street bar. The interesting thing wasn't that girl's dress (but it caught our attention. Getting used to having a serious conversation with a bloke who is staring in the opposite direction is a life skill.), no the interesting thing was how much the stable, mature, grown-up blokes needed to talk about how they are unstable, insecure, lost wee boys. So, I felt right at home. Nice guys under all that suit-ery.
Got to Waverley just in time for the last train, which is substantially better than not being just in time. Got home just in time to spend another evening being a teenager on FB. That was great fun too, although I have decided that wimmin are much better at being wimmin than men are at being men. "Just sayin'" as a dear friend of mine might say.
Now then, what's on today? Oh yeah, more boxes and arrows in a room full of hung-over suits. Well, that should be fun. Let's make it fun.
