Phew...EEEEEkkkk....phew!

Thanks for the sympathy yesterday . I really needed it :(

I hunted out my receipt today and thanks to my fabulous filing system I found it (phew!) Then I looked at the date of purchase - 06/06/2010 - oh no, how could it be? More than a year!! Only just, but isn't that always the way? EEEEEkkkkk!

And then I saw that I had purchased an extra year's warranty. How cool is that? (Phew!) So I rang the 0800 number, they took the details and gave me a claim number. I need to take the camera to the nominated shop and they will send it back to Canon for repair. Well that's the theory, let's hope it works that smoothly!

Goodness knows how long that will take so I am off to sweet-talk my point-and-click camera that's been languishing in a drawer for over a year. Now, where did I put it.....?
