Tale of the two towers
Thank you for putting up with my cheeky blip yesterday and for being so generous with your comments :))
We've borrowed the Summer today here for Edinburgh. Sorry if you've had thunderstorms where you are. We'll give you back your good weather soon. :)) We even had to go find the air conditioning switch at work. I certainly didn't know where it was.
But it was the evening I was waiting for. After catching Alistair McGowan on telly doing impressions of Murray, McEnroe and Nadal, I headed for Longniddry Bents in East Lothian.
The fresh breeze was very refreshing. But the clear skies meant that it was going to be a long wait till dusk. So finally at about 11:15 PM, I found there was enough of each of the elements, the shore line, lights, skies and the sea to capture this shot. The two towers belong to the Cockenzie thermal power station on the south coast of The Forth. And perhaps three other excited blippers on the left edge of the frame?
This means that by the time this blip is uploaded, it is well past bedtime on a school night. I'll have to wait until the morning to come around to visit your blips. Oh well, I shouldn't complain too much...
The outblips, to coin a new term, or the ones that also ran.
