Newcastle's Kittiwakes

Just a quick snap of the Kittiwakes nesting on the Guildhall on Newcastle's Quayside - the most inland breeding site in the World. Looks like one of the newly hatched will be making a quick escape on by abseiling on the rope hidden below it's nest.

I'm pleased to say that, today, they didn't splatter me!
