Guilty

One of the reasons for getting chickens is our problem with slugs.

On a damp morning our garden resembles the slug version of a wildebeest migration and the slimy little sods ate all our first lot of lettuce, peas and cabbage.

The chickens are now eating all the slugs so going slightly to plan... However the guilty look and the hastily spat out leaf on the bench also says the lettuce have a new nemesis.
