Dock Life

Another glimpse of a world we often overlook. We were heading down Island in our boat for a celebratory dinner with our friends H and K. Caught this image dockside as P fussed with the boat.

It was a lovely dinner. Sharing photos and stories of our "big day" and toasting with some bubbly and lots of smiles and good times. I don't think either of us understood how much these special moments with close friends celebrating our landmark occasion would mean. I think we better understand the importance of rituals and sharing of meaningful moments and life transitions.
