A big thanks to Libro for taking the time to explain the subtleties and merits of the photo that won the contest I was moaning about yesterday. I can see that, all things considered, it was a misinterpretation on my part. I read the title Urban-Nature and thought of contrast and harmony between the two but what they meant was Urban nature in a city grown way (very briefly paraphrased). So none of my picutres would have made any consideration - I entered the wrong photos. This is proved by the 3 2nd place pictures here "#¤ ???, ......here ..(like this one) and you are kidding !!!!

This is my most popular entry and my favourite - the building is a national icon called Hærons(pro: herons) Officerskolen.

Oh, and the shot. I cycle past this train station every day and took this of a pile of bikes and this of the station I'm stood on here (May Blips). What you see is the train line and patch of grass that feature in the winning photo that inspired this stupid (and now it's out of my system) pointless entry.


Kudos to Libro for articulating exactly (but better) the feelings of the judges,if I had translated their full explanation it would have looked very, very similar - well done. You don't know Danish do you?
