Rain

Those of you expecting a marvellous breathtaking shot of a thunderstorm on full effect will be sorely disappointed. I wasted a good 2 hours and over 300 shots today trying to get a good lightening strike and failed miserably. Also all the grot that has accumulated on my sensor shows up beautifully at f22. A trip to nikon is on the cards I fear!

No my lens wasn't broken, I just taped together all the ND filters of various sizes to stop down far enough to capture the elusive celestial conflagration as some of you guessed.
