I love days like this!

We started the day off bright and early by picking Will up from a sleepover at Curt's house. He had his green belt Taekwondo grading at 10.00 so we guessed he wouldn't be in the best of moods after a late night and early pick up but perhaps were hoping for a little better than we got! We soon calmed him down and got him sorted though.

I don't know why he puts up such a fight(no pun intended) about Taekwondo as he always enjoys it when he's there. He's also really good at it and, in my opinion, stands out from the other kids 'when' he puts the effort in. At his last grading the instructor stated he was at a standard of four belts higher than he actually is!

After the grading we went for lunch with family and had a great afternoon with good food and a lovely walk down by the river. I took some nicer photos than this but I think the group shot summed up the day nicely so decided to blip this instead.

Back home for an early night as we were shattered(hungover) from Wendy's 40th last night.
