Window on Glasgow's Merchant City

Even if you have never visited Glasgow, you may be familiar with photos of George Square or the City Chambers, or the 'Armadillo'. You might now want to Google the new Riverside Museum (Someone is bound to have blipped it too, as it opened last week. I'm waiting until late August, to let the crowds die down.).

My contribution to your appreciation of this beautiful, warm and glorious city is to add less common images each time I'm in the city.

It would take you only three minutes to walk from George Square to this part of the Merchant City. I am spoiled for choice today: it took only ten minutes to collect 12 images of the built environment at least as beautiful as these renovated buildings.
