Scallops and steak!

Backblip

A whole morning waiting in for the openreach man yet again....he did not come. I am very very angry about this issue. I have backblipped for a number of reasons. The main one being a lack of internet, the second being that I do not want to leave a bad feeling in my journal full of anger.

ANGER IS LIKE DRINKING POISON AND EXPECTING THE OTHER PERSON TO DIE! - they don't only you do.

Moving on the openreach issue seems to be a never ending saga and means I will probably be ranting about this for a while. As I backblip it is Wednesday a 3rd engineer has been cancelled and the excuse is that the exchange had work on it due to be completed on the day I should have gone active (the 13th) it was now the 27th and that work is not complete and so until it is I will have no line or broadband. 2 people were supposed to call me back tonight and NO ONE HAS!


After my thrilling morning I trotted off tesco and stocked the cupboards and bought Steak for dinner with the added treat of Scallops for £1.50!!! WOW I have had them in a restaurant but never cooked them myself! The mission was on - unfortunately you only have my word to take for it as HEC doesn't eat fish, but I think they were amazeballs! And if nothing else they looked amazing! However as good as the starter was, the distraction of HEC with a broken foot, a 3 month old and a 3 year old, the steak was a little well done, the chips almost burnt along with the mushrooms. Thankfully HEC saved the meal with her sauce! YAY
