Walnut Grove

"It's Walnut Grove but not as we know it John Boy" - In the grounds of what was the old Coney Hill Mental Hospital there were dozens of Walnut trees. Most, if not all, of them are still there but housing has been built up around them.
I believe there was a preservation order on these trees, and many others such as Cedar, Scots Pine and 'Christmas' Trees, planted in the grounds.
The Walnut and Pine trees are a great source of food and nesting for the many squirrels (Grey unfortunately) that live in the area.
