Ground Breaking

The long-awaited commencement of the main interior construction of our local food co-op's new location was celebrated today. I'm blipping the cake, because I would fall asleep in the middle of this comment if I blipped the mayor adressing the gathering. It started as a bulk-buying club in the late 1960s, then it took on a little storefront in 1971, and now, having acquired a former bank building five times the size, the sky's the limit!

Speaking of the sky, I'm told that there are already bee hives installed on the roof.
