WIZARDRY

Blibo Baggins is a Hobbit who ( LIKE ME ) enjoys a comfortable, unambitious life, rarely travelling any further than his Pantry or cellar ( sounds like Malc ).
But his contentment is disturbed when the Wizard GANDALF, and a company of dwarves arrive on his doorstep one day to whisk him away on an adventure. They have a plot to raid the treasure hoard guarded by SMAUG THE MAGNIFICENT, a large and very dangerous dragon. Bilbo is most reluctant to take part in this quest, but he surprises even himself by his resourcefulness and his skill as a burgler.
So says the intro to the book the Hobbit.

I suppose one could say I have been an avid fan of JRR TOLKIEN over many years. - This little model of Gandalf was given to customers of a Petrol station
for the launch of the trilogy " Lord of the Rings " I've finally gotten round to photographing it ( in my own way ) as its raining outside.
I thought it was timely as 'the Hobbit' is being filmed in NZ right now ?
