Carpet of alpines

Thank you for all the lovely comments for yesterday's sunset and for Saturday's unusual blip too.
Today I found some beautiful poppies in my friends garden but I didn't have a camera with me, so was on the look out for today's blip whilst walking the dog but nothing inspired and Blue wouldn't 'pose' at the right moments. So these little alpines in our front garden will have to suffice today - they are tiny and delicate and spread across the slate in the flower beds.
No sunset tonight - just humid and close - never happy are we?
