O flower of sheer ouchiness....

One Jules was harmed in the making of this blip. Man, thistles are prickly.

As I said yesterday, I was feeling patriotic and thought i'd blip some thistles. To accompany today's blip we have some interesting fact's about Scotland. I say interesting but that is totally debatable.

1. Scotland has some 790 islands - 130 inhabited

2. Many years ago in Scotland, a new game was invented. It was ruled "Gentlemen Only...Ladies Forbidden"...and thus the word GOLF entered into the English language.

3. Edinburgh was the first city in the world which had its own fire-brigade.

4. Scotland's official animal is the unicorn - its not even real?!?

5. The Loch Ness monster is real.
