This is the only picture that I have taken all day and I know what you are probably thinking: "Jennie, how do you achieve such quality in just one shot?"* and I think that you know, well I am maybe a natural. Shucks.

Anyway, today I happened upon a friendly crowd and accompanied them to a brewhouse for a wee quick ale and a gabber. It was no more than an hour, but an hour full of goodness. Then they were on their way to places new and I made my way to places old.

So... from centre foreground we have 1. the waterproof - red and essential for these tempestuous northern climes. And moving anti-clockwise we have 2.Britney 3.Barbara 4.Marc 5. Lindsay (you know?) and finally not quite pictured 6.Matt (who sends his apologies to Shearer69)

And just when I thought that my afternoon could get no better one of this lovely party revealed their blood connection to Sir Walter Scott**. And then I swooned.
