A bit of a circus

We did a walking tour of Bath.
Park and ride, £3 a head return compared to £2.40 an hour parking in town.
Ally downloaded the Tour from visitbath.co.uk and we listened and walked.

We had a few detours for life saving rests.
Lunch was Caesar salad for me and smoked Haddock and Mozarella fishcakes for Ally. Afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie and we of course had The low fat option a ball.

But the first was to the Roman baths.
They were on my list of things to see before you die, so score that one off....oops!

I can really recommend a visit there and not just because we got "THE PHONE CALL" that Ally had been waiting for since last Thursday.

My very clever hubby got the well deserved promotion he was interviewed for last monday. They made him sweat it out through his holiday, but we are celebrating tonight.
Must dash, my red is warming up nicely.
