mum-in-waiting

my wee girl swaying in the labour room in hospital, trying to ease her body, having begged to be induced as she hasn't slept for the past few nights - her hips are agony when she lies down - & the twins are a good weight, so she is now dealing with fierce contractions, close together.

but the necklace doesn't come off yet, she says!

i think it's harder than being in labour - almost - well not really - just a different kind of worry.

so we wait..........
