Our little worker!!

Home from work this morning after getting a move up at 5.30am to go to Heidelberg station to look after their area as they were at a house fire! I called in and picked up our missing shelves then came home, got ready and went to Traralgon for another day of renovation! Kaz dropped Spence off at daycare and then went straight there.

We got a bit done today! I put up the remaining two blinds, attached the blind cord holders, Kaz grouted the laundry floor, we cut the sink hole out of the kitchen benchtop, attached a piece of cement sheeting to the wall for the splashback and covered over the fireplace with a piece of board and liquid nails! It's coming along!

Kaz was gathering up some tools from the garage this morning with Spence and he wanted to take his tools as well. Kaz said that he couldn't because he didn't have a toolbox to keep them all in! Kaz told him that she would buy him a special toolbox for all his tools today and then they could go and collect all his tools tonight when they got home and put them in the toolbox.

I picked Spence up from daycare and one of the first things he said to me was 'Mummy Kaz is buying me a special present today - a toolbox!! I am so excited!'!! It was so cute!! Kaz got home and gave him the toolbox then they went around the house looking for all his tools! He found his 'working hat' and his screwdriver, tape measure, set square and a few plastic screws! Kaz and I took a few photos of him, he was so pleased with himself and his new toolbox! For the next hour after that I had to go and play with him 'fixing' all his toys with his tools!!

Tomorrow Spence and I are going down to our holiday house at Sandy Point to do the final inspection before Wednesday's settlement!! It is so exciting!
