The bed

Until two weeks ago my bed was for sleeping in, during the day it was redundant , these days its a hive of activity , family life has moved in to it ! Breast feeding means I spend large parts of my day sitting down, this suits everyone, Freya has realised I am a captive audience so I have been subjected to endless games of Snap, pontoon, Guess Who and Ludo , we play on the laptop, trawl ebay looking for nice things, watch youtube clips of all manner of things, bedtie stories are read in here now and we watch endless cbeebies programmes on the iplayer , The comfiest place to do all of this is on my bed , Rob comes up to visit us and bring me drinks and snacks. I dont spend all day up there of course ! I do other things between feeds !

Today has been hot ! Freya has been tired and teary all day , too many later than usual nights I fear, we have adopted a very laid back lifestyle at the moment . Its been too hot to take Jemima anywhere really so we have stayed home and lolled about. This afternoon we took to our bed and watched cbeebies while Jemima slept , then me and Freya had a bath together which we havent done since the baby arrived, that was lovely .

I am now a memeber of blip !! the wonderful lady la la has gifted me !! How nice was that ? I shall tell you how nice it was, I cried !!! Now I must blip everyday again or her money will have been wasted ! I am very grateful to her indeed :D

School sports day tomorrow , My only hope is that Freya manages to remain upright for an entire egg and spoon race (that isnt really a race lest some child come last ) bring back competitive sports !!
