Race for Life day

... A sea of girlies all dressed in pink gathered at our local park.
Running, jogging, skipping, walking 5k all to raise money for Cancer Research.

I am very proud to say ran every step (i couldn't even run 1/2 a mile a couple of months ago!!) But i vowed i'd run it, and i did... even in the sweltering heat of today!

It was not easy, and there were many times i just wanted to stop, or walk for a bit, but i kept going, and finished it in 31 minutes.

Reading some of the signs on the back of peoples tops throughout the morning really brought it all home as to why we were all gathered there...

.. Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored me, or anyone else... You have really helped... One day something will discovered to kick cancers ass!! x
