Fire

For the first time in nine years we have a garden big enough for a bonfire. I suspect it is going to get a fair bit of usage. After a great party last night we have spent the day mainly doing garden stuff which at the moment amounts to cutting stuff down, sticking it into a pile and setting fire to it. The result of this weekends efforts is that we can now see the river from the sitting room, the valuable lesson of the day is that if you borrow a friends rather powerful petrol strimmer (thanks Rob) make sure you are not wearing shorts when you attack the nettle patch!
