Hiding!

We are looking after Lucas again. He is a lovely boy, and Ollie and he get on very well. This morning we had a good walk and they chased each other for ages. Great way of exercising all three of us! Down on the shore I spied the shelduck with their chicks. Initially there were 11 chicks, now there are 6 of them and they are almost fully grown. The poor parents are always herding them together, one swimming at the front, the other bringing up the rear.

It has rained all day, this was at the beginning of it. It just got duller and darker and the heavens poured. I believe elsewhere there was sunshine - but no where close to here! Hope it brightens up soon . . . . !
