we went to the zoo!

it's not something we do often....or even ever, really. No idea why because we all like it. Maybe because family outings are generally a disaster when our family is involved. But anyway, today we went to visit friends who live in Zürich and they suggested we went to the zoo. It was great fun! Their child knew his way around well and could tell us lots of things, our children loved the shop (we don't have shops, see) and played "spot the willy" at every enclosure. Then they bickered a bit. They said they really enjoyed it though and they did, for a few minutes, come out with some animal general knowledge that made me feel proud of them. And they managed not to ask any really embarrassing questions.

My camera didn't like the humidity of the tropical house very much and some pictures haven't even come out, others are just out of focus. Bit annoying but just one of they things, I guess. Here's one that did come out.
