This was the name Valentine Warner gave to his little lavender meringues that he made on his TV programme last year. I have to say we laughed and laughed and laughed when he came out with that line - it was so unexpected!

These are raspberry jam buns and some lemon ones too that I made this evening. They reminded me of exactly what Valentine was talking about :-)
