EAT!

It was the last day of the Newcastle EAT! festival today, I went along to meet with some friends and to see the cake making competition in which local teams created cakes in the form of regional landmarks. The best part was, after the judging was complete, the cakes were sliced up and handed out to anyone who wanted a piece! I think I devoured half of the Farne Islands :-)

Oh yes.. the squirrel... well I was going to blip one of the cakes but in the end couldn't resist the look on his face... like he's just discovered buried treasure! And it still fits with the general theme of the day :-)
