To the Manor burn...........

Only brits who remember the TV show in the 80's will get the title....sorry everyone else lol!

I was working at home today, suddenly there were sirens and blue lights flashing everywhere outside. The old Northway manor house is less than 200 yards from my house, its been empty for a long time. Yesterday somebody was caught trying to steal an old fireplace from the property. They were arested and bailed as far as I know, and then it looks as if they came back today and set light to it.

Its really sad blip today, but I had to stand there and take photographs of course....just sent this one to the local paper, who have expressed an interest in running it.
