Another slow start. But a day with a big event - I started the DIY on the windows - the attic windows which are a bit of a state. It's a bit of a commitment since it means taking the windows out to sand them, boarding up the hole, scraping out all the rotten bits, pulling off the dried up putty, repairing the wood, making a new sill and fitting it. Putting everything back and painting it. But now that it's started it needs to be finished.

Went to see Kung Fu Panda 2. Entertaining although Ellen was a bit fidgety. But Christ it's getting expensive - £40 for two adults and two kids - just tickets. No sweets or juice or Premier seats.

I think tonight will involve some slumping in front of an adult film. Not that kind of adult film just one rated higher than PG that doesn't require silly specs.

And yes, I know it's the boat again and the third boat in a row. I like them. It's different from all the others although it wants to be big.
