Coleas

My gran was an amazing woman.
Someone who wasn't scared to speak her mind and yet she was loved by everyone.
In her youth she played violin in front of the screen at the silent movies.
We loved going to stay at her house - as much home baking as we could eat and lots of story telling, laughter and music.
She died 25 years ago.
This plant is a direct descendant from her coleas. Probably not a plant that I would chose to buy but this one has survived so long now that I guess I will just keep it forever.
Watch out offspring - you will be the next custodians!
