Rained out

Monsoon season started this week, it's been hot, wet and headachy. After a day happily splashing around Gyeongju city yesterday, we took one look at the torrents of gray water outside hotel and decided to cut our losses and come back early.

On the way to the station in our aquaplaning taxi, the driver was cheerily pointing out the bobbing cars in the flooded riverside carparks and the rice paddies pouring water one to the other.

I was just hoping that he'd like to turn on his windscreen wipers and face forwards.
