School Summer Fair (?)

3 hours on a Friday evening standing in the rain.
Was worth it to see the look on Stephen's face as I caught his eye after he scored a penalty in the football tournament.
I am always pleased when he does well, but what particularly impressed me was the way he encouraged his team and comforted one or two who were a bit upset.
He's a good kid - despite his parents.

and thankfully there was wine for the spectators
