View from the top
The view from the top of Jack's Pass, just as the sun broke through on the hills opposite. The tussock was blowing about in the wind and there were big clay puddles everywhere. The wind was freezing and there was a smattering of snow on the tops, it rained all night so we were very lucky it cleared enough for the mountain bikers to get out for a final ride, before lunch at the bakery and the ride back to town.
Lovely to get away from the shaking, and Hanmer is such a great little place for a weekend visit (although we are a bit strange - none of us like the hot pools!) Judging by the cars outside we are very much in the minority.
