Intensity

This beautiful poppy greeted me this morning with its spectacular orange petals. The morning sun brightly lit the delicate petals and as I was getting my second cup of coffee, I realized that only a few minutes were left to capture the shot. Still wishing I had a nicer macro lens that really saw more detail, but for now this will have to do. Poppies are one of my favorite flowers...along with callalily, hydrangea,and runucleus....(sp???)
