St John's Church
Went into the city centre this morning and saw that the tower of St John's church was open. It dates back to the 14th century, got a bit of a kicking from Owain Glyndwr and his troops when they got to Cardiff, and was later worked on by the young Iolo Morganwg (before he went into the medieval forgery business). Despite having been in the city for most of my life, I've never been up here - the views are fabulous. This is the clock tower of Cardiff Castle.
