Yippee It's the weekend

.....and very nearly my holiday. This morning I even managed a lie in till 10am. All necessary editing work is done, just the pre-wedding shoot to finish but they know it is due when I get back next weekend so am taking my time on their editing trying different things. Now this weekend I've had no paid work but I agreed (more fool me) to photograph the Dunholme Summer Fete. It was good because got to catch up with some old friends. I have a soft spot for the Summer Fete as it was one of the first events I used to practise my photography at, Im not quite as enthusiastic as I used to be because there are many interesting things I would rather photograph, neverthe less I wanted to help my friend out who was going to be stuck in the kitchen and making cups and teas. I sometimes think that the photography is the easy option but then realise 3-4 hours on your feet and concentrating it soon wipes you out. I wasn't really sure what to blip today nothing really stood out although what I took will be meaningful to Dunholme Village Community.
