Not exactly sure which sort, marsh I think as it is very pale and was growing in a wet place, but could be heath. As it is heavily cropped I don't know if any one can be more sure than me. When I cropped it I noticed all the tiny waterdrops.
We went for a walk in Glen Lethnot and set off with the cloud very low but it was gradually lifting and we only had some thin cloud on the highest parts. There was a fairly steep climb out of the valley and it took quite a long time to get up - we kept stopping to take pics of Northern Marsh Orchids, Heath Bedstraw, Milkwort, Common Cow-wheat, Cloudberry (unusual to see the berries), a slug, a beetle and the above - taking pics is a good excuse to stop!
Toward the end of the walk we had a brief period of sun and beautiful blue sky, and when we got home jt had left an almost full bottle of wine for us to finish as he is away.
So, altogether a good day.
